Limitless mover securing a gun safe on the truck lift

Gun safe moving

Gun safes and home safes, moved on the right equipment. Don’t hurt yourself. Call the professionals.

A safe is built to be hard to move. That’s the point.

All that weight sits in a small footprint, which makes safes hard on floors, stairs and backs. We move them on heavy-duty equipment and secure them on the truck lift, so nothing tips and nobody gets hurt.

Before moving day we want to know the make or rough size, and the full route out: steps, stairs, slopes, doorways and where it’s going. A photo helps. That tells us how many movers to send and what equipment to bring.

Before we arrive

  • Empty it if you can

It’s lighter and safer to move, and nothing inside shifts around on the way.

  • Tell us if it’s bolted down

Let us know when you book if the safe is anchored to the floor or wall, so it’s free before moving day.

  • Know where it’s going

Garage, closet or basement. We plan the route in as carefully as the route out.

  • Send a photo

A picture of the safe and the path out answers most of our questions before we show up.

“I first used them to help me move a fridge up an impossibly narrow stairway with a bend. They did such a great job I used them again.”

Fridges, gym equipment and oversized furniture get the same planning. Moving a single heavy item? That’s a job on its own.

Safe moving questions

Can you move just a safe?

Yes. A single safe is a job on its own, with no full move required.

Should I empty my safe first?

If you can, yes. It’s lighter and safer to move empty.

What do you need to know to quote a safe?

The make or rough size, whether it’s bolted down, and the route: stairs, steps, slopes and where it’s going. A photo helps.
