Springdale movers
About 40 miles from St. George on SR-9, roughly an hour
Moving in Springdale
Springdale is the small town at the south entrance to Zion National Park, up SR-9 past Hurricane, LaVerkin, Virgin and Rockville. It’s a beautiful place to live and a busy one, and moving here takes more planning around traffic and parking than most towns in the county.
From St. George it’s I-15 to SR-9, then through Hurricane and LaVerkin and up the canyon, about an hour each way. Moves headed east toward Kanab don’t always fit through the Zion–Mount Carmel tunnel, which has size limits and escort rules for big vehicles, so we plan the route around it when we need to.
“I first used them to help me move a fridge up an impossibly narrow stairway with a bend. They did such a great job I used them again.”

Before a Springdale move
Pick the quiet hours
SR-9 and the town fill up with park visitors on busy days. An early start keeps the truck out of the worst of it.
Sort out parking first
Street parking is tight. Find out where a box truck can legally stop, and ask your landlord or HOA if you need permission.
Tell us about stairs and paths
Homes and rentals tucked into the hillsides can mean steps and long carries. A few photos help us send the right crew.
Moving east?
If you’re heading toward Kanab or Mount Carmel, tell us when you book so we can plan the route around the tunnel.

Springdale moving questions
Do you move to and from Springdale?
Yes. Springdale, Rockville, Virgin and the rest of the SR-9 corridor are all in our service area.
Can a moving truck go through the Zion tunnel?
Large vehicles face size limits and escort rules in the Zion–Mount Carmel tunnel. For moves headed east we plan a route that works for the truck.
